The team’s new talent, Darryl Tweed, is ready to appear at the starting line this year.
The 2018 Irish And Ulster Road Racing Lightweight Supersport champion has already completed several laps on the team’s motorcycles. Riding the Yamaha R1 and R6 in 2024, Darryl had the following to say at the start of the new season:
‘’I am Really happy with the NBC bikes and the team. It is a really good all round package and I am looking forward to the season with them’’.
Darryl and his teammate Rhys trained this month at the Spanish circuit Cartagena. There, they managed to complete the necessary laps, and Darryl is indeed very satisfied:
‘’The lap times where good and better than I expected them to be. I really feel I have jelled well with the R1 and I am excited to get started the learning process at the IRRC. Additionally, I am really happy with the R6. It is a good, strong bike and i felt comfortable on it straight away’’.
